TELFICON is a compact microcontroller with built-in GSM communications and GPS positioning capabilities, designed for telematics, telemetry, and remote control and monitoring applications requiring reliable operation in harsh environmental conditions. The unit is programmed to fulfill tasks necessary in a particular application.

The internal GPS receiver of the unit allows to monitor the geographical coordinates of the host carrying a TELFICON, and guarantees precise timing (synchronization) of events in larger systems utilizing TELFICON units.

In default configuration, the unit is equipped with 7 analog inputs for voltage level measurement, and 4 binary inputs/outputs for monitoring of swithes, or relay control^*. Depending on application requirements, various control loops can be programmed supporting data logging, remote monitoring, control, alarm generation, etc. We can adapt the TELFICON to user-specific application, adding signal inputs/outputs and providing signal conditioning to match applied sensor signals.
