Disc Flasher E864
We regret to inform you that this product is DISCONTINUED; please find our current products here
Designed to provide a highly reliable subsystem for long-term operation in field conditions, the E864 Flasher unit uses the latest surface mount (SMD) and microcontroller technologies to provide a compact, disc-shaped device for the use in lanterns based on 150mm LED Disc Light Sources from the E80x family (E801, E802, E803, E804). It offers several new features required to provide remote monitoring and control capabilities.
The E864 Flasher provides the user
with a convenient and flexible setting up by a service computer (a PC with ekta™ Lanserv Plus software) that may be used in both stand-alone and system applications. Special care has been taken to minimise the power consumption of the unit in idle state, which is essential when using the flasher in battery powered buoys.
Features
Programmable automatic control of flashing
Daylight-dependent switching on and off of the flashing mode by a photosensor
and sending the actual
switching
time messages to the monitoring and control centre
Autosynchronisation by internal clock/calendar to be adjusted either by
GPS receiver or by any other
flasher in
the control and monitoring system
Built-in monitoring and control LAN interface for the communication with
other units
Sending diagnostic and emergency messages to the monitoring and control
centre using a communication controller connected to system LAN
Simple setting up and programming using a service computer with Lanserv Plus software installed
Built-in A-BUS monitoring and control LAN interface for local data communication
Built-in temperature sensor allows to maximize the use of accumulator energy and precision long term timing
Readiness to operate in redundant configurations (primary/secondary flasher)
