Diesel Generator Interface E177 is a microprocessor based unit for the control of Diesel Generator to be used as a secondary (reserve) energy supply  in a 1000W lighthouse control system E602. It consists of the microcontroller, output signals relay unit,  transceiver of local area network and of the DC power supply for charging the internal batteries of the Diesel  Generator. The type of Diesel  Generator to be controlled is YANMAR YDG3700E-E

Features
  • Starting of the Diesel  Generator by the command received either from the local area network or from the control/testing switchboard
  • Control of the starting process by sending of the time-scheduled signals to the Diesel  Generator for:
                opening of the fuel valve
                decompression of the engine during the starting process
                start of the actuator of the engine
                start of the internal control unit of the  Diesel Generator
  •  Control of the bringing the  Diesel Generator to a standstill
  •  Charging of the internal batteries of the Diesel  Generator
  •  Autonomous testing of Diesel Generator by servicing handset
  •  Built-in monitoring and control  Echelon LAN  interface for the communication with other units of the control system
  • Sending diagnostics and emergency messages to the system controller via Echelon LAN
